The first post on this site is called About. The Federation of Sentient Sea Creatures is trying to clean up the oceans and they want Humans to stop polluting their territories so aggressively.
Navassa Island was the first uninhabited island chosen by them to establish a science outpost in part because Haiti was an early adopter of my Very Basic Water Infrastructure and this means the waters in that area are less polluted than average.
There are lots of good reasons to adopt my very basic water infrastructure, including reversing Human Caused Climate Change. Peace with Earth's Sentient Sea Creatures is just one more reason to pursue this.
Doreen Traylor is only the webmaster here and I don't have diplomatic functions or authority of any kind to "speak for" them or decide anything on their behalf.
